The Scottsdale Pavilions

Through the commitment of the De Rito Partners Development Inc. in enriching the traditions and history of the Salt River Prima-Maricopa Indian Community (SRP-MIC), De Rito decided to change Scottsdale Pavilions’ name to The Pavilions at Talking Stick. For the SRP-MIC, the talking stick has played a significant role in their culture because it is a historical reference to the Pima calendar stick. De Rito Partners Development Inc. is The Pavilions at Talking Stick’s developer.

Apart from the significant history you get from the name of the open-air retail venue, you’ll also find that this is also a one-stop destination. The expansive 1.1 million sq. ft. venue has over 80 retail stores and restaurants which is also the first power center that was built on a Native American Land, particularly Arizona.

With the expansion made in 2009, The Pavilions at Talking Stick continuously increased the number of its retailers. Among the latest retailers added in the expansion are Hobby Lobby, T-Mobile, Sprint Wireless, Digitell, Owl Ear Discount Tobacco, Jack’s Warehouse, Carlife, TONI & GUY Hairdressing Academy, OctaneRaceway, Mountainside Fitness, Barro’s Pizza, Filiberto’s, Hooter’s and Blimpie Sub Shop. Burlington Coat Factory, Conn’s Home Plus, Red Robin and Buffalo Wild Wings Grill & Bar are also expected to open this year.
